“This work will make a wonderful addition to our permanent collection,” said Southern Alleghenies Museum of Art curator, Ms. Bobby Moore, referring to the recent acquisition of my drypoint, ‘Chickadee & Milkweed’. The museum’s collection focuses on American art and includes, among others, the artwork of Mary Cassatt, Albert Bierstadt, Rockwell Kent and Frederick Childe Hassam -all good company to keep, from an artist’s point of view. The museum is in Loretto, Pennsylvania, about an hour east of Pittsburgh. Southern Alleghenies Museum of Art |

Recently, the Artists for Conservation Foundation elected me to membership. The foundation is “...a non-profit, international organization dedicated to the celebration and preservation of the natural world.” Its mission is to support wildlife and habitat conservation, biodiversity, sustainability and environmental education through art that celebrates our natural heritage.
