Private Study

Ever wonder what it would be like to spend a week studying privately with a teacher who could really teach you what you need to take yourself to the next level technically? Here's your chance to find out.

If you're serious about improving your painting skills and find the group workshops don't deliver the understanding and procedure that works for you, then this might be the answer. I know the frustration of spending time and money and not really learning how to paint any better. Here's a secret: Technically excellent painters have spent a lot of time analyzing their work, diagnosing the problems and practicing consistently to form effective painting procedure. You'll learn how to do this. This methodology applies to athletes, scientists and successful people in any endeavor. Geniuses might be an exception to this, but I doubt it.

I prefer to work with two students for a five day session - but there's some flexibility here. We'll spend time outside learning how to look and paint and some studio time applying the insights. No one can become a great painter in a week - I've been at this nearly twenty years meself - but I'm confident we can get you moving forward. If your skill level is currently beginner to intermediate, you'll leave here with clear, practical knowledge you can use to improve your work immediately.

Contact me and we'll explore the possibilities.
